Morillon was designed for avid downhill skiers with snowfront residences.
This pedestrian resort blossomed in a wonderful environment, right in the forest with a panoramic view of the valley below. On location you will find the kids village, French Ski School, shops, and restaurants. An ideal vacation for the entire family.
Altitude: 1100-2480m.
Ski area.
Downhill Skiing: The Domaine du Grand Massif.
260km of ski runs linked to the following resorts: Morillon, Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoëns, and Sixt Fer à Cheval.
133 runs ( 15 green, 53 blue, 51 red, 14 black).
81 ski lifts and 152 artificial snow machines (44 at Morillon).
Snowboarding: "JamPark concept" offers every snowboarder an area fit for his snowboarding level. "JamPark Kid's" recreational area at Morillon for children ages 5-12.
Cross country skiing: in Morillon village, cercle "la plaine" with free access (3.5 km), a car is necessary to get there.
Other sites are not free : 45.6 kms from "Samoëns" and "Sixt Fer à Cheval", about 4 km from Morillon Village.
Snow shoes walk : From the village and from the Blue Lake "Lac Bleu".
Activities.
In Morillon: paragliding, visits to the farm.
In Samoëns (9km): helicopter rides, skating rink, carriage rides, sauna and Jacuzzi, ice diving in a frozen lake, fitness center…
Shuttles run between the resorts during the hours the lifts are open.
