Located in the heart of Olympic Savoie, the Menuires resort is a part of "Les 3 Vallées", the biggest ski area in the world.
Menuires is a practical resort with a warmly atmosphere where you never have to take your skis off.
Park your car in the parking lot and enjoy the wide open spaces that are at the finger tips of skiers and hikers alike.
Altitude: 1850-3200m.
Ski area.
Downhill Skiing:
> The Trois Vallées ski area gives you access to 600km of ski runs serviced by 200 ski lifts and the Cime Caron gondola (3200m) and the Péclet Funitel.
> The Domaine des Menuires and Saint Martin de Belleville: 36 ski lifts and 160km of runs.
The Domaine de la Vallée des Belleville (same as above + Val Thorens): 70 ski lifts and 300km of runs.
The resort has a snow park with a snowboard school, a boardercross, and a halfpipe.
Skicross with moguls, banked turns, and slides 850m long to satisfy the freestyle desires of the modern rider.
Cross country skiing: 28km of marked cross country trails in the valley from Menuires to Saint Martin de Belleville. Access to the trails is free.
