In the region of the Var between Saint Tropez and Port Grimaud, Cogolin, a village with a very mild climate that is protected by the slopes of the Maures, has preserved its Provençal authenticity with the vestiges of its castle-fort, the Clock Tower with a draw bridge, and old fortifications. With its original craft and cultural activities, Cogolin is a destination in its own right.
The Marines de Cogolin are located 5km from the village on the way to Saint-Tropez and were built between the right bank of the Giscle river and the beach. It includes a 23 hectare port, a sandy beach, and a sailing center.
ACTIVITIES
The sailing center of Cogolin is 500m from the residence, scuba diving, tennis, golf (15km), miniature golf, horseback riding, and throughout the summer: fireworks, nighttime activities, jazz parties, antique shows…
THINGS TO VISIT
The Provençal market, the Raimu Museum, the local handcrafted art (pottery, ceramics, wrought iron, pipes, rugs), the Marines de Cogolin with its marina complex; fine, sandy beach; Port-Cogolin, a residential complex built around the marina. Visit the cellars of the Cogolin vineyards.
